UTM Campaign Tracking

WebVisor automatically captures and analyzes UTM parameters from your URLs, helping you track and measure the effectiveness of your marketing campaigns across different channels.

UTM Parameters Explained

UTM parameters are tags you add to your URLs to track where your traffic comes from. WebVisor automatically captures these parameters:

utm_source

Identifies which site sent the traffic

Example: facebook, google, newsletter

utm_medium

Identifies the marketing medium

Example: cpc, social, email

utm_campaign

Identifies a specific product promotion or strategic campaign

Example: spring_sale, black_friday, product_launch

utm_term

Identifies paid search keywords

Example: marketing+analytics, web+tracking

utm_content

Differentiates similar content or links within the same ad

Example: blue_button, header_link, text_ad

URL Builder

Create properly formatted URLs for your campaigns:

Base URL Example:

https://yourdomain.com/page

With UTM Parameters:

https://yourdomain.com/page?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=spring_sale&utm_content=video_ad
